Brad Pitt is No Copycat and Has No Religon
Brad Pitt has a mind of his own and doesn’t copy his girlfriend Angelina Jolie with regards to his charitable work. In an interview for next week’s Parade, he says he’s offended when people suggest his charitable work is because of his relationship with Angie:
“That’s idiotic. I do it because I’m a member of the human race.”
Brad also states he has no plans to run for political office, however, he’d be happy to vote for George Clooney or Ben Affleck.
Brad also revealed why he denounced any type of religion while he was at college:
“When I got untethered from the comfort of religion, it wasn’t a loss of faith for me, it was a discovery of self. I didn’t understand this idea of a God who says, ‘You have to acknowledge me. You have to say that I’m the best, and then I’ll give you eternal happiness. If you won’t, then you don’t get it!’ It seemed to be about ego. I can’t see God operating from ego, so it made no sense to me.”
So I guess Brad does have a mind of his own! He’s still lovable though isn’t he?
