50 Cent Slams Kanye in Defense of Britney
50 Cent slammed Kanye West for talking trash about Britney Spears’ lousy performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. Kanye reportedly criticized MTV for choosing Britney over him to headline the show, claiming she was “not ready” for a comeback. 50 Cent told Ryan Seacrest:
“(West) was upset, he’s not used to being recognised. Period. Kanye expressed that he felt that Britney shouldn’t be actually opening the show - almost like he forgot that Britney Spears sold 50 million records. She did. He is not thinking about her full body of work. She deserved to headline the show better than anybody else that was on it - even in the state that she is in.”
That was nice of Fiddy to say, wasn’t it? I bet he was just taking the opportunity to slam Kanye though.
