Kirsten Was Robbed in NYC

Kirsten Dunst was reportedly the victim of a robbery as thieves took a $13K handbag, cell phone, ID cards from her penthouse suite at a posh Manhattan hotel, according to court records. Kiki was in the city filming scenes for her upcoming movie How to Lose Friends and Alienate People and left her suite at the SoHo Grand Hotel on August 9 when her suite was broken into.
The thieves were captured on surveillance camera leaving the hotel and also got away with $2,500 in cash, credit cards, two digital cameras, and an iPod. One suspect, a 33 year-old, Jarrod Beinerman was being held on $50k bond after his arraignment on Wednesday in a Manhattan court. However, his lawyer argued that the surveillance camera didn’t show his client carrying anything in his hands when he left SoHo Grand and that he was only there because he heard a movie was being filmed at the hotel and “went there to check out what was going on.”
The authorities did however recover Kirsten’s credit cards, IDs and cell phone since the incident. One would think the hotel would have a little extra security for the level of the penthouse suites. Maybe it was an inside job?
