Father in-Law Urges to Boycott Amy Winehouse!

Amy Winehouse’s father-in-law, Giles Fielder-Civil spoke on the BBC Radio Five Live, and urged fans to boycott Amy’s music until she seeks some help for her drug addiction. He said:

“Perhaps it is time to stop buying records. It’s a possibility, to send that message.”

Giles Fielder-Civil is convinced his son and daughter-in-law had been taking cocaine, crack cocaine and possibly heroin.

However, Amy’s father, Mitch Winehouse doesn’t think a boycott will do the trick though. As previously mentioned, Amy and her hubby were in a bloody fight recently. Her father was asked about the pictures and replied:

“I thought that here are two people that are completely out of control. As a parent it was sickening - worse than sickening, I wanted to die, but I can’t die. I can’t think of things like that because I have another son, I have a daughter that needs me, although she doesn’t think she needs me at the moment.”

I can’t imagine the heartache their parents must feel seeing them on this road to destruction. Can’t the families do an intervention or something? I don’t think boycotting her music will help either, but it sounds like they don’t know what to do to help. I feel sad for their parents. I get teary-eyed thinking about what they must be going through.
