David Beckham was reportedly doing some retail therapy while he was here in Toronto. On Saturday afternon, Becks was spotted wandering into Holt Renfrew on Bloor St. searching for men’s vintage jeans. According to witnesses, he was dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, without any entourage and seemed very polite, humble, and pleasant to the sales staff. Since the store didn’t carry the jeans, the sales person directed him to Exile in Kensington Market. Becks then asked them for Armani aviators, however, the store didn’t carry that as well.

So Becks made his way over to Exile just before they closed, however, with a bodyguard this time. He looked at the jeans, but didn’t buy. Instead he bought a black Iron Maiden concert t-shirt. The lucky sales person, Bella Butscher was able to see Becks with his shirt off as she said:

“I don’t often get star struck, but this was the highlight of our weekend.”

Becks actually spent about an hour walking through Kensington Market, signing autographs and posing for photos. On Monday, he made his way to Roots on Bloor St and bought a leather blue and gold Galaxy team bag.

So it looks like he doesn’t quite shop like Victoria Beckham. I guess he didn’t buy anything for Posh and the kids. Uh-oh. Posh won’t be too pleased.
