Bono As Jesus?
The Dutch artist, Frans Smeets, created a sculpture of Bono, in long white robe similar to the one Jesus is often depicted in. But with a Nike sign and Emporio Armani sunglasses. And, at his feet lies a dying African child in which he is totally disinterested in.
The sculpture seems to match recent criticism over Bono’s activism in the Product Red campaign. Ouch, Bono is not going to like it.
