Julian Lennon Is Not Trying to Copy His Dad
Julian Lennon made a film about the environment called, The Gathering: Return of the Whale Dreamers which premiered at this year’s Cannes Festival. He denies trying to follow in his father’s footsteps with John’s political protests. He explained:
“I admire what he did enormously. But we are not jumping on the bandwagon. We never did it to make money, we started ten years ago so we were before Al Gore and 9/11.”
It must be so tiring for Julian to constantly be compared to his father and his work. I love him for doing the work he does though.
