Star Packed Show

Last night Paul McCartney had a secret gig to promote his new album for only 1000 people in London. Among the people in the audience were Paul’s daughters Stella and Mary McCartney, Kate Moss, James Bond Pierce Brosnan, Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour, The Office star Mackenzie Crook, pop singer Gareth Gates, Emma Thompson and Texas frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri.

Heather Mills was no where to be seen and Paul made no reference to her.

At the show he did a song that he wrote for Lennon. It was reported that he was tearful while performing it. Before playing the song he said:

“This one was written for John. I would like to dedicate this song to all our fallen heroes - John, George, Linda and all the lovely people. Let’s hear it for them.”

After performing the acoustic song, he said:

“It’s a difficult song to sing, that one. We love ‘em.”

The reviews for the show are great:

The sound was perfect, the band were supertight and Paul McCartney’s voice was as rich as ever

Sounds like an amazing show!
