Too Many Racist Comments About Obama

Unfortunately, the CBS News website has discontinued allowing public comments concerning presidential candidate Barack Obama because so many of them have turned out to be racist. Mike Sims, director of news and operations for CBSNews.com said that that the website has often deleted any racist comments about Obama, however, due to “the volume and the persistence” of them, it has made it difficult to manage. This negative attention is probably the reason for his need for security now. I guess there are many racist folks out there who are really terrified he has a good chance of winning the White House. What a triumph it would be to see the first African American president of the United States!

Barak gets my vote!
Do you want a “triumph” or do you want the most experienced person to be President? Don’t make our country worse off then it is by voting to make some kind of point about African Americans. He doesn’t have the experience of Hilary and should women vote for her to make a “triumph” for women? Are you all that stupid - don’t you see the power a president has by looking at Bush? Listen to the candiates in debates, read everything you can and then make a decision based on who shares your views, who has a plan, don’t be ignorant and vote on something as superficial as race or sex. It’s not a one issue vote - do you know how many men and women voted for Bush based on the fact - one fact - that he was pro-life? They didn’t even know what else he stood for. We can’t afford for people to vote on one issue only, be it race or sex or pro-life. If we as Americans don’t THINK for ourselves - ie. do you know what Obama stands for other than “hope?” Inspirational words are not enough - and do not a president make. Read, listen, think about everything a candidate has done or plans to do for our country, then make an “educated” vote. If everyone voted on just sex ie. a woman or race - an African American then we shouldn’t be surprised when we get what we get. If you don’t know about a candidates plans for the country then you owe it to yourself to find out. Leave race and sex out of it; that’s just too easy a way to cast a vote.
