Paula Abdul has slammed reports that she has had cosmetic surgery, insisting she has only had Botox and hinted that fellow American Idol judge Simon Cowell does Botox as well. She told OK! magazine:

“Check behind my ears! I haven’t had one ounce of work done. I had (Botox) done for the first time six weeks ago in my forehead, and it only worked for about two weeks. Simon doesn’t have any wrinkles.”

She also denies having her nose injured because of a temper tantrum whereas some fans and gossip sites have wondered about her explanation of trying to avoid tripping over her chihuahua Tulip. A source told Page Six:

“Paula did not break her nose. She had pitched a fit, threw something into a mirror or glass object, and a shard of glass struck her in the face, which explains why Paula’s nose didn’t seem swollen.”

Paula’s spokesperson claims the report is “absolutely, categorically untrue.” She’s also apparently sick of constant rumors suggesting she is an alcoholic and blames Simon Cowell for causing the rumors when he teased her about the contents of her glass. In OK! magazine, she said:

“I’m sick of it - I’ve never been drunk, and I don’t do recreational drugs. (Simon) made a funny accusation that something was in my Coca-Cola cup. And whenever he says, ‘Nobody understands what you’re saying, Paula.’”

Poor Paula! She doesn’t need to continue denying anything and everything because American Idol fans still love her.
