Paul Newman is Choosing to Retire from Acting
Paul Newman has reportedly decided to retire from acting because he says he has lost confidence in his acting skills. Although he has been in more than 50 movies, he admits his age is behind the decision to depart from Hollywood. He says:
“I’m not able to work anymore as an actor and still at the level that I would want to. I’m just, you know, you start to lose your memory, you start to lose your confidence, you start to lose your invention. So I think that’s pretty much a closed book for me.”
Well, this legendary actor will certainly be missed! I’m sad I won’t continue to see him in films. I just love the photo of him with Robert Redford from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. They were hot, weren’t they?
