Best friends Tobey Maguire and Leonardo DiCaprio have slammed reports that they used to share a bed together. Tobey’s mother Wendy is said to have made confessions to journalist Marlise Elizabeth Kast about her son & Leo’s friendship, revealing that they used to wear ribbons in their hair. They’ve been very close since meeting when they were teens on the set of This Boy’s Life. Wendy said:

“Those two are just free spirited guys. Most of the friends they hang around with are gay. They’re comfortable with that. But I think Leo and Tobey are the crossover between men and women. They have feminine traits they are willing to accept. They aren’t ashamed to have any sort of title, even if that means someone calling them gay.”

According to The Daily Star, Kast said:

“Wendy continued to recount her liberal views, divulging how the two friends ’shared a bed and wore ribbons in their hair’”.

However, both guys denied the allegations, with Leo’s representative Ken Sunshine saying:

“It is untrue.”

And Maguire’s spokesperson Kelly Bush adding:

“This is so ridiculous I don’t feel the need to respond.”

Hey, if the reports are true, there’s nothing to be ashamed of. I think it’s cute that they’re such good friends.
