Jane Fonda Doesn’t Regret Yelling at Lindsay

Although Jane Fonda insists that Lindsay Lohan is a “nice girl, but she was late a few times”, she doesn’t regret telling her off. The cast and crew of Georgia Rule were so upset at Lindsay’s behavior, the film’s producer James G. Robinson and Fonda felt they had to publicly scold her. After Lindsay arrived late several times and called in sick despite being seen partying the night before, Fonda told the Chicago Sun-Times:

“I think she’s a fantastic actress and I think she’s just brilliant in this movie. She moved me to pieces. Basically, she’s a nice girl, but she was late a few times and I yelled at her. One day I had had enough and went to her make-up trailer and said, ‘Come on, Lindsay! Everybody’s waiting for you!’ And I just turned on my heel and walked out. Afterwards, they told me she turned to her make-up person and said, ‘Barbarella just yelled at me!’”

Lindsay apparently admitted she had been “a bit irresponsible” while making the movie, but explained that she was having problems with her then-boyfriend Harry Morton. This is the girl who wants to be taken seriously so she can win her Oscar!
