No Eye Contact for Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba remembers her days of working on the set of Beverly Hills 90210 in 1998 where her experience was a little bizarre. She says she was contractually forbidden from making eye contact with the actors on set. She says:
“I don’t really know why. Maybe because the leading characters were so popular they didn’t want other actors looking at them. You wouldn’t be allowed to talk to them unless they spoke to you first. It was bizarre. But I guess that’s what happens when you become a big star. A lot of actors get away with murder on set, but I always like to be part of the crew.”
I actually don’t remember ever seeing Alba on that show, but then again towards the end, I had stopped watching. It looks like she came from humble beginnings and I sure hope she keeps those early experiences of her career in mind when she’s trying “to be part of the crew” on her movie sets now.
