Liz Hurley’s Father In-Law Disowns Her Husband
GettyApparently, Elizabeth Hurley’s father in-law isn’t too pleased with his son and his new daughter in-law. Vinod Nayer told the Sunday Mirror that he and his wife Joanne felt “publicly humiliated” and treated “like social outcasts” at the wedding which has been nothing short of drama after the event. He said:
“Liz and Arun have treated us very shabbily. My heart is heavy with pain. We were pushed into the background like poor relations. This has broken my heart. I have decided to cut all ties with my sons…I feel that Liz and Arun behaved shamefully and placed more importance on showing off than their own family.”
In a letter he had sent to his son, he reportedly wrote:
“You have shown disrespect to me and my family, plus my dear friends who have been with me since your birth.”
Wow, this isn’t quite the start of a happy marriage when someone is disowned in public. Very sad! I certainly hope they work it out somehow.

I actually thought so too. It’s very sad what happened and that his parents felt slighted. I do hope they can patch things up though. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.
I suspect there is a lot more beneath the surface to this story and that the disharmony did not just start at the wedding event.
Seems to be a shortage of emotional maturity going around to bring up the matter publicly and at the time of a wedding.
Can’t stand Elizabeth Hurley and all her publicity stunts. Who cares who she sleeps with, who the father of her child is, or who the hell she marries!
Yes I am a Hindu father who is also going to be disowning his adult American son. The boy meant the world to me once. He was legitimately born but he and his mother have chosen to make him illegitimate!
