Angelina & Her Brother Haven Are Orphans?
Angelina Jolie’s brother James Haven claims that he and his sister consider themselves orphans due to the recent passing of their mother despite their biological father Jon Voight is still very much alive. Haven says:
“There were times when our father was awesome but my biggest memory is that he would look more to our faults than to our strengths, and that’s what was so hard. Now that our mother has died we’re two orphans, Angie and I, so she has a deep understanding of the orphans she adopts.”
I actually agree with him about his view on Angelina’s adoptions. Angelina probably has more empathy for children, especially her children that she has adopted because of her strained relations with her father. It probably even hurts more to them that Jon Voight is still alive because they’re not on speaking terms. Very sad indeed. But even though their father is a jerk, I wouldn’t agree that they’re orphans though.
